Some of the salient features of Santec's Hydraulic Forming Press are as follows:
Heavy Duty & Rugged Construction: The reinforced bed is connected to the columns via. interlocking wedge keys to help transmit forces equally rather than through bolts, tie rods or welds. Generous openings between columns allow for easy access to the die area. Key to its precision is the 8-point non-binding gibbing system (with proportional electronic leveling) that assures maximum bearing contact with its long nonmetallic gib surfaces.
State-Of-The-Art Hydraulic System: Each press is equipped with a compact, high-speed hydraulic system enabling fast cycle speeds that can equal or surpass those of mechanical presses of comparable size. The power unit provides three advance speeds (rapid advance, fast press, normal press) and two return speeds.
